Graduate Student Assistant
Natasha is currently pursuing her Master of Public Administration in Development Practice at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), Columbia University. Prior to attending SIPA, she taught middle school students from an underprivileged community for two years as a Teach For India Fellow. She worked closely with various stakeholders to bring about long-term changes in the class and school. She also has two years of corporate experience at Google India as a digital advertising consultant. She completed her Bachelors in Economics from University of Delhi in 2013.
Natasha joined the Center for Sustainable Development in October 2017 as a graduate student assistant. She supports the Yuva Nestham Youth Empowerment Program, a grassroots initiative based in India that improves the well-being of 1,550 students. She is analyzing results of a reproductive health curriculum implemented by the program. She is also supporting marketing of earrings made by adolescent girls as part of an income-generating activity that benefits their schools.
