Zelda Moran

Zelda completed a BA from McGill University in Environmental Health in 2013, and worked on international research projects in the fields of vector borne disease and maternal health in Panama, Austria, Kenya, and Uganda before coming to Mailman in 2015 to complete her MPH in Epidemiology.  Her primary interests are in reducing the burden of Neglected Tropical Diseases in developing countries, and in new interventions for vector-borne disease control.

Zelda is working with the Hemorrhagic Fever Laboratory in Conakry, Guinea on validating new diagnostic tests for Ebola as part of the Tropical Laboratory Initiative.
