President's Global Innovation Fund of Columbia Awards CSD Researchers

Earlier this week, Dr. Yanis Ben Amor and Dr. Ozge Karadag Caman's proposal to the President’s Global Innovation Fund of Columbia, for the proposal entitled "Youth health promotion via digital technologies: Towards building an international research network in forced migration settings", was positively reviewed and awarded funding

Earlier this week, Dr. Yanis Ben Amor and Dr. Ozge Karadag Caman's proposal to the President’s Global Innovation Fund of Columbia, for the proposal entitled "Youth health promotion via digital technologies: Towards building an international research network in forced migration settings", was positively reviewed and awarded funding. This new PGIF project will allow the team to expand their refugee health work in Turkey and Lebanon to Jordan and to work with Columbia Global Center in Amman in addition to the Global Center in Istanbul. 

The team is excited to announce that CSD's REACH Project was accepted for oral presentation at the 16th World Congress on Public Health (https://wcph2020.com/index.php) and the abstract will be published at the European Journal of Public Health (https://academic.oup.com/eurpub). Dr. Ben Amor and Dr. Karadag Caman hope to share the findings of the REACH Project with a huge global health audience this October.
