Celeste Díaz Muga
Celeste Díaz is a second-year Master’s student at Columbia University, where she is deepening her passion for sustainability, climate change, and social policy. With an undergraduate degree in Journalism, she has developed strong analytical and communication skills that serve as a solid foundation for her work in these fields. Celeste has collaborated with former Chilean Minister of Education Mariana Aylwin, contributing to significant education reform efforts.
Last summer, she interned at Santander Corporate and Investment Bank, where she worked closely with the Sustainability team. This experience allowed Celeste to gain hands-on knowledge in sustainable finance and corporate social responsibility, equipping her to approach sustainability from both corporate and policy perspectives. Originally from Santiago, Chile, Celeste has lived between Santiago and Connecticut, USA, enriching her with a diverse cultural outlook. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring new restaurants, going on walks, and immersing herself in literature.
