Jazmin is a Program Manager at CSD, serving as as Columbia’s coordinator for the Paraguayan Proyecto Nacional de Transformación Educativa 2030, where she works alongside the Catholic University of Chile in a structural and strategic transformation of Paraguay’s educational system. In this project, Jazmin acts as a liaison between the CSD and the country’s Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, Presidency and other government entities, NGOs, and stakeholders.
Before joining Columbia, Jazmin was the Educational Coordinator for the Presidential Delivery Unit of the Republic of Paraguay. In this position, she overviewed and supported all presidential priority projects in this field. In the past, Jazmin also worked as the EducationUSA Senior Advisor for Paraguay. EducationUSA is a network of advising centers run by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs that promotes higher education opportunities in U.S. institutions.
Jazmin holds a Master’s degree in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a BECAL fellow (Paraguay’s National Scholarship Program) and a research intern at UNICEF in Ecuador. Jazmin also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Minor in Communications from the University of Kansas.
